Alloa Athletic can confirm that Kurtis Roberts has joined Stirling Albion on loan until January.

The 31-year-old midfielder returns to Forthbank, where he previously made over 50 appearances between 2020 and 2022

Kurtis, who has been with the Wasps for the past three and a half years, has become a real stalwart of the club during his time at the Indodrill Stadium. He has made a significant contribution to the team and has established himself as an important member of the squad.

The midfielder is now returning to action following a spell on the sidelines through injury, and the decision has been taken to allow him to get regular first-team football between now and January.

Alloa Athletic manager Andy Graham said:

“Kurtis has been an important player for us over the last three and a half years and we’re delighted to have him back available following his injury. At this stage, the most important thing for Kurtis is to get back playing regularly and getting 90 minutes under his belt every week. Stirling is a good opportunity for him to get that regular game time, get back to full match fitness and enjoy playing again.We wish Kurtis all the best over the next few months and we’ll look forward to getting him back in January and having a look at where he is then.”
