We certainly knew it wasn’t going to be easy coming here to Brora and that proved to be the case. I must compliment Brora in everything they brought to the game. They competed really well and kept the game alive until the death, but I felt we just shaded it. We had a lot of good possession especially in the first half without causing any real problems. We tweaked one or two things at half time and we got our rewards for that. I am absolutely delighted for big Geoff to get his first competitive goal and it was a fantastic finish. It has been a good build up where we have played Highland opposition and as we progress towards the league campaign starting, I feel there has been a progression from players each week. We got that in this game and I believe we will get that again when we face Berwick next. There was a lot of pleasing aspects, but there is also lots of hard work for us still to do. Overall, though I was delighted with the effort and commitment of the lads and we are just delighted to be in the hat for the next round. We had the backing of a tremendous support who travelled up from the central belt and that speaks volumes for what the club means to them so we are delighted that we could reward them with a victory.
