The next Alloa Athletic Football Memories meeting takes place on Monday 9th November, from 11.30am to 1.30pm at The Hive, 21 Mill Street, Alloa, FK10 1DT.

They are delighted to welcome Gordon Forrest as the guest speaker.

Gordon has a special place in Alloa Athletic history, having scored the winning goal at Fir Park against Falkirk on 27th April 1977, securing the Wasps’ first promotion since the 1938/39 season.

He will be sharing some fantastic stories and memories from his footballing career, making this a great opportunity for supporters to hear first-hand about an important moment in the club’s history.

A little Christmas kindness

As the group did at last year’s Christmas Lunch, they would also appreciate donations of selection boxes or sweets for the children who visit The Hive over the Christmas period.

Donations can be handed in at the Football Memories meetings or dropped off at the Alloa Athletic Museum ahead of the Christmas Lunch on Monday 14th December.

The museum is open Fridays and Saturdays, 11am–2pm.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.
