Alloa Athletic is delighted to announce its upcoming Golf Day, taking place at Alloa Golf Club on Friday 21st August 2026, with the aim of raising vital funds to support the club’s community activities.
Set on a 6,200-yard, par-71 championship-length course, Alloa Golf Club offers stunning views alongside a layout that will provide a rewarding round for players of all abilities.
This event promises an enjoyable day for all, bringing together supporters, local businesses, and both existing and former players of the club.
Teams are invited to enter at a cost of £280 per four-ball. The competition will follow a shotgun start format, ensuring an exciting and social experience for all participants. Handicaps will be taken on trust.
One of the standout highlights of the day will be the £10,000 prize for a hole-in-one at the 18th hole, adding extra excitement to the competition.
Participants will be welcomed with rolls and coffee on arrival, followed by a meal after the round, providing a great opportunity to relax and network. The event will also feature guest speakers, along with various prizes to be won throughout the day.
This Golf Day is not only a chance to enjoy a memorable day on the course but also an opportunity to contribute to the continued development of Alloa Athletic’s community programmes, which play a key role in supporting local people and initiatives.
