Manager Allan Maitland signed Mark Brown who had been released by Clyde FC in last close season. Mark started his career with Rangers before two serious injuries hampered his progress. Brown then resurrected his career with amateur outfit Eddlewood Amateurs, so much so that John Brown signed him on a two year contract at the start of last season. Mark, in previous season made 29 appearances, plus 2 from the bench for "The Bully Wee", scoring in the opening league game of the season against Morton in a 1-1 draw. Signed by John Brown as a central defender but can also play midfield and will hoping to catch eye again with "The Wasps". Made competitive debut against Stenhousemuir in Stirlingshire Cup tie. Mark Brown has been a terrific signing for the club, playing either in midfield or central defence, one goal to date against St. Mirren in Scottish Cup.
