    Alloa Advertiser Stand

    Friday, August 30, 2013 1:47:31 PM

Alloa Athletic Football Club's main stand has been rebranded 'The Alloa Advertiser Stand' as part of a major deal with The Mulraney Group and the local Alloa Advertiser newspaper. The new branding is hoped to be completed before today’s home game against Cowdenbeath, the rebranding being completed by local Clear Retail Solutions, a company which specialises in cost effective branding solutions and installation. The elevated stand at Recreation Park will receive new branding as part of a six-figure advertising deal, in which the two parties will work in partnership to promote the club and other Wasp Leisure community activities run by the multi-industry Alloa firm.

Home to The Wasps Lounge hospitality suite, the stand, which seats over 400 and overlooks the 110x75-yard pitch with its FIFA Grade 2 playing surface, running half the length of the pitch on the Home side, it's the preferred vantage point for supporters of Alloa Athletic, which has played at the Clackmannan Road grounds since 1895 and was bought over by The Mulraney Group in 2007.

Martin Little, Head of Business Development at Romanes Media Group, which owns the Alloa Advertiser, said, "The Romanes Media Group is delighted to be working with The Mulraney Group to maximise the opportunities for both businesses. "We're committed to working with other innovative Clackmannanshire organisations and are keen to support Alloa Athletic and all that it does for the local area."

The Mulraney Group, which has invested more than £2 million in community, art and leisure projects in Alloa over the last six years, also owns and operates the town's Leisure Bowl and Wasp Centre, as well as the hugely successful art studios at The Maker's Village next door to The Maker's Gallery & Bistro at Ludgate.

Director Mike Mulraney, who is also Chairman of Alloa Athletic, said, "This presents a wonderful opportunity to work hand in hand with Clackmannanshire's newspaper to promote sport, leisure and art in our community."
