    Two more signings

    Thursday, July 25, 2013 2:38:30 PM

Manager Paul Hartley again, this evening, added to his squad for the new season by signing 24 year old left sided defender, James Creaney who had impressed in pre season friendlies against Oxford United, Cove Rangers and Peterhead. The 24 year old defender had started his career as a youth with Kilmarnock, but made his senior debut for Ayr United before a loan move to Troon. At the start of Season 2007/08 he joined Stranraer and then had a spell in Irish football with Dundalk and Galway Utd before Galway got into financial difficulties. James then returned back to Scotland joining Dumbarton at the start of Season 2010/11 and enjoyed great success with “The Sons” in the First Division, making over 75 first team appearances, before surprisingly being released at the end of last season. Also resigning for the club is Jonathan Tiffoney, who had did brilliant in his spell last season with the club, scoring in the televised First Division Play-Off final against Dunfermline Athletic. Jonathan has again had to sign as an amateur, due to contract difficulties still outstanding from his time with Ayr United which have been highlighted to FIFA, both players will be included in the squad for Saturday’s Ramsdens Cup tie against Dundee.
