    Wasps draw Queen of the South

    Earlier today, the Scottish Communities Cup first Round draw was made at Ochilview Park, Stenhousemuir with the assistance of First Minister, Alex Salmond.

    "The Wasps" last visit to Dumfries was back on 19th April, 2003 when a single Stevie Thomson goal won the match 1-0 for the visitors. The last time the sides met in the League cup competition goes back to season 1976/77, the game at Dumfries on 21st August, 1976 was drawn 2-2, the following week at Recreation Park "The Wasps" won 1-0 thanks to a Gordon Forrest goal.
