    Friday, August 12, 2011 10:23:02 AM

    Alloafc 1878 Supporters Club Update:-
The supporters club has secured a pre match base for both home and away supporters to attend for a pre and post match drink in the town centre. The venue is the lounge (upstairs) at The Star Inn- which will be exclusively available for Alloa supporters and also travelling fans. Obviously bar facilities available, plus television with sky sports package to watch the early and later matches. All supporters are obviously welcome to this and hopefully will see many paying a pre match visit over the course of the season. Also looking for any Alloa memorabilia you would like to see displayed on the walls etc inside the lounge.
Supporters bus for next weeks match against Annan Athletic will leave the Town Hall at 10am. Please ensure you have given your name plus £5 deposit to June inside the club shop by the end of today’s match against Clyde if you would like a seat on the bus. All supporters welcome.
The supporters club is still accepting memberships, both regular and travel club are available. Cost is £5 for regular membership, and £15 for travel club membership. All members receive an 18 page newsletter and membership card, travel club members receive a discounted rate on the supporters bus in addition. Contact alloa1878@live.co.uk for further details.
Volume 3 Issue One of the Scotzine online magazine is available now, which is an excellent read with a season review of all Scottish teams. Programme contributor Grant Todd submitted the article for Alloa, and the magazine also contains a good interview with ex Notts Forest European Cup winner Kenny Burns. A good read for just £1, available here- http://www.scotzine.com/2011/07/vol-3-issue-one-of-the-scotzine-football-magazine/
The next supporters club meeting takes place on Tuesday August 30th at 7pm in the John White Suite at the ground.
