    Too many draws

    Sunday, April 02, 2017 5:11:57 PM
Too many draws this season have cost "The Wasps" in their bid to win the league, Saturday's 1-1 draw against Albion Rovers was the club's 3rd successive draw against Darren Young's side in a game Alloa played good passing football and dominated possession, especially in the second half, but lack of penetration in the final third of the pitch and Rovers content to sit behind the ball made for another frustrating draw, the club's eleventh of the season.

Credit to the Alloa players who keep trying, looking for the elusive second goal, Scott Taggart provided plenty crosses into the box but on the day missed Dylan Mackin's presence and height in the area. We will now travel to Livingston next Saturday knowing that a point is all Livingston require to be crowned Champions.
