    Brechin City game

    Saturday, March 21, 2009 4:57:15 AM

Alloa Athletic will be missing John Grant when they visit Glebe Park to play Jim Duffy’s Brechin City today. John starts a three match ban and along with today’s match will miss the home match against Peterhead and our next visit to Stark’s Park to play Raith Rovers on 11th April, 2009. Manager Allan Maitland’s other main injury concern is Brian Carrigan who limped off against Arbroath last Saturday and has not been able to train all week due to a swollen knee. Kyle Macaulay missed last weeks game against Arbroath due to not feeling well but has now recovered. Gary Carroll and Stevie Barker have been added to the squad for today’s game at Brechin. Allan Maitland said, “We have set ourselves a point target before we can say we are safe from relegation issues and even if we win this one we are not there yet.”
