    Sunday, September 11, 2016 9:24:03 AM
The Wasps fantastic ten game unbeaten run came to an end on Saturday against Livingston, when two ex Alloa Athletic players scored the opening two goals of the game. Goals change games and although "The Wasps" were on top and creating chances it was the visitors who punished the home side scoring three goals in a fifteen minute spell. To their credit the Alloa players never gave up and Greig Spence scored his eighth goal of the season from the penalty spot to reduce the deficit. The game also marked Alloa Athletic captain Graeme Holmes 200th first team appearance for the club, a remarkable achievement in today's game, and one he can still add to given his importance to the team.
