    Rebuilding begins

    Tuesday, May 03, 2016 5:52:20 PM

Manager Jack Ross tonight began one of the most difficult jobs of any manager, the difficult decision of letting players go, a thankless task of releasing players to allow the rebuilding begin towards moving forward again next season. The manager once again wanted to put on record his thanks to all the players for their efforts and commitment since he joined the club in the second part of the season, they gave me everything in their quest to achieve results and brought great pride back in their performances ending the season on a five game unbeaten run.

At this stage I have still some players to speak to, but leaving the club will be David Crawford, Ryan Finnie, Mark Williams, Lee McLelland, Eddie Ferns and Aron Lynas. I hope to keep the nucleus of the squad and retain as many as possible and have offered contracts and now wait to see if they accept the offer.

I will be looking to add further to the squad, and have already identified signing targets, but I think it is important to tie up the core of quality players we already have at the football club, and so that is something that will take priority. As soon as it is possible I will keep supporters up to date with all signing news over the next few weeks.

    Jack Ross
