    Managers Message v. Raith Rovers

Good afternoon and welcome to the Indodrill Stadium for today's match against Raith Rovers. In particular I would like to extend that welcome to Ray McKinnon, his staff and players and of course those supporters who have travelled from Kirkcaldy. Our previous encounter at Stark Park saw us record a narrow victory which we hoped would be a a catalyst for the collection of more wins and points as we fight to maintain our Championship status, and while we have on occasions produced competitive performances we have fallen short at important times and subsequently now face a difficult challenge to survive. However while it remains possible to accumulate enough points to avoid bottom spot then the belief and desire to do so will remain as strong as ever. The season to date has undoubtedly been challenging for all at the club but at this stage it becomes very much a test of character for the players, myself and the staff.

We have to ensure that together we have the drive to win every match we play in between now and the end of the season and that this motivation does not waver at any time during the ninety minutes no matter how the match unfolds. First and foremost we have a home record to put right as no one who participates in the game professionally should accept not securing any victories within their own stadium over the course of a season and therefore today provides us with an immediate opportunity to put that right. As always your support as fans is vital and we want to repay that backing.

    Enjoy the game

    Jack Ross
