Alloa Athletic fought back after going down to ten men and Falkirk scoring from the resultant penalty to snatch a derserved equaliser and a league point with a late goal. Having had the best opportunities in the first half and been denied by visiting goalkeeper Danny Rogers, it was cruel for him to let Colin Hamilton's shot slip through his hands for "The Wasps" equaliser. Danny Lennon's team fought for the full ninety minutes and were determined to take something from the game, Eddie Ferns coming off the bench to be a thorn in the heart of the Falkirk defence not for the first time as was recalled in the match programme, recalling his "goal of the season" against "The Bairns" on 22nd March, 2014, which sparked an Alloa victory on that day.
