    Thin margin in defeat

    Saturday, August 29, 2015 6:41:42 PM
Another disappointing second half display from “The Wasps” today in a game one goal was to take the three points. Alloa were again missing top goal scorer this season Iain Flannigan with a back injury and captain Dougie Hill missed out after suffering concussion last Saturday at Starks Park.  The first goal in this game was always going to be crucial, but although having good possession, especially in the first half, “The Wasps” would be disappointed at their play in the final third of the park by not troubling visiting keeper Grant Adam enough. The manager and players would be disappointed to lose their fourth Championship game this season, albeit by the one goal margin, next week we travel to Dumbarton, a ground in recent times the team have found difficult, but this set of players are desperate to get their first league points on the board and will look to bounce back next week.
