    Saturday, July 19, 2014 5:20:33 PM

Alloa Athletic ended their Pre season friendlies undefeated, after defeating Brechin City 2-1 at Glebe Park, in today's "Closed Door" friendly. The home side had went ahead after 14 minutes when Andy Jackson pounced after keeper John Gibson had parried an Alan Trouten shot. In the second half, Barry Smith's side came out with more determination, Jason Marr headed home after 51 minutes and seven minutes later Michael Doyle's net bound shot was saved by home keeper Graeme Smith but Kevin Cawley followed up to lash the ball high into the net.
