    Basic errors cost game

    Sunday, December 14, 2008 3:13:00 PM

Alloa manager Allan Maitland was an angry man as he watched his side make basis errors which have again cost the club dearly. Ayr United were well fired up for this game and in fairness started the game at such a pace “The Wasps” could have been three goals down inside the first twenty minutes, ex Alloa Athletic player Scott Agnew was the man to break the deadlock. After Ayr United scored Alloa gradually forced their way back into the match, but the turning point in the game was when Scot Buist received his second yellow card early in the second half after getting himself caught on the ball, when he had plenty of time to clear the situation. Alloa still attacked and had chances but Ayr United hit them with two late goals on the counter which Raymond Jellema might have done better and Alex Williams will not get an easier double coming on with fifteen minutes left.
