    Q.O.S. game Managers Message

    Saturday, March 23, 2013 5:32:21 AM

Today I would like to extend a warm welcome to Alan Johnston, Sandy Clark, the players, supporters and directors of Queen of the South FC as they visit Recreation Park for the second time this season for today’s SFL Irn Bru Division Two match.  It’s a game we look forward to, featuring the two teams who have been one and two in the league for most of the season and one the fans are also looking forward to, our games already this season have always been tight, and I’m sure that will be the case again today.

Last week against Brechin City, we so much of the play and possession and their keeper made a few great saves, we certainly didn’t deserve to lose, that’s for sure, it was a sore one to take, but we have to regroup again for another big game today against League leaders Queen of the South.  It will be another tough game, but all the games from now until the end of the season are going to be just as difficult, we know Queen of the South are an outstanding team but we know we can match anybody on our day. We need to keep going, although disappointed with the result last week against Brechin City, I was not disappointed by our performance, I thought we played well in spells in the game and we also showed that we are another outstanding team at times but we need to keep it going and keep our heads up.

Our aim this season was to get into the play off’s and try and win as many games as possible and see where it takes us, the players are still very focused on that task and determined to do everything they can to achieve this as soon as possible.

Your support, as always will be vital, we will look to play as we can, not changing our style of play and go out and have a go and see where it takes us, enjoy the game.
